What is di water
What is DI water?

Spot-free water (as it is commonly referred to) is water that is passed through a special resin. The resin is a sand-like product that attracts and removes all of the dissolved particles in the water, normally referred to as TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). After the water has passed through the resin the water is 100% particle free. The water is dead. It is simply a clear liquid with no salts, potassium, calcium etc. This is why if you use this water to rinse your car, boat, RV or windows, when it evaporates it will dry to a 100% spot free finish. Other uses of DI water.

  • Use to rinse your shower after cleaning the shower door. It will dry to a mirror like finish.
  • Use DI water in your vehicle washer fluid bottle, this way when you use the washers it won’t leave staining on the roof of your vehicle or the front windshield.
