You will notice that in all of our videos we are using the larger Pro 100 tank and not the smaller Pro 50 tank. This is for no other reason than personal choice and the fact that washing such a large vehicle (plus an SUV) we only change our resin approx once a year. The Pro 100 holds 1 cu ft resin. With the smaller Pro 50 tank we would have to change our resin twice a year as this hold only 1/2 cu ft resin.
The results are exactly the same.

Since producing these DI spotfree water videos of how to empty the resin from your DI tank, we discovered a far easier way with involves a lot less messing around. Simply purchase a length of 3/4″ pvc tube from Lowes , Home Depot or Ace Hardware and allow for a space of approx 1″ – 2″ from the bottom of the tank and your tank will empty like magic.
